Devereux currently manages properties in Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. These include residential and commercial assets held through partnerships and joint ventures in which we serve as managing general partner. The company was founded by Dewitt H. Smith III, President and CEO, who brings over 35 years of experience in real estate development, investment, and management. Over his career, Mr. Smith has overseen portfolios valued at more than $450 million and totaling over 3.5 million square feet of commercial space.
Our investment approach is grounded in a conservative, long-term strategy that prioritizes steady, risk-adjusted returns over speculative gains. We focus on well-located, income-generating properties — both residential and commercial — with stable rent rolls, minimal deferred maintenance, and strong fundamentals, particularly in secondary and tertiary markets throughout the Sunbelt. Dewitt Smith’s professional career spans five decades and covers a wide variety of commercial real estate disciplines including land development, construction, sales and leasing, asset and property management, financial analysis, and debt financing. He is currently a general partner in multiple limited partnerships across four states.
Previously, Mr. Smith was president and CEO of Cooper Realty Investments where he managed a $450 million portfolio of Class A office, retail, mixed-use and warehouse properties. He was also a registered Professional Engineer for 35 years.
Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has served as an adjunct professor at the Walton School of Business at UA, where he taught economics at the undergraduate level and real estate finance and Investments in the MBA program. He has served on numerous non-profit boards both in NWA and statewide. He and his wife, Cindy, have two children and five grandchildren.
Brandon Smith came to DVRX Group in 2025 with a background in the legal and public servant fields. Brandon has been practicing law in South Carolina since 2004 and has served in a general counsel role for a local business that has been a cornerstone of the Greenwood community for over 130 years.
Motivated by a lifelong dream of public service, Brandon was elected Mayor of Greenwood, SC in 2018. Brandon and his wife, Tara, hold or have held leadership positions with numerous local and statewide non-profits and have volunteered their time for even more.
They are the parents of three sons and are active members of Main Street United Methodist Church. As a father, Brandon has enjoyed being a coach and volunteer. As a supporter of local music, Brandon can be found enjoying and/or playing music at many local venues. He and his three sons form the band Surrender Cobra, and they play locally and around the South.
Mr. Hopper’s professional career includes work in financial analysis, asset and property management, development management, and sales and leasing. In addition to his work at Devereux Real Estate Investments, Mr. Hopper works as a Real Estate Development Manager for Tallchamps, LLC – a real estate development company that develops and manages commercial shopping centers, office buildings, and residential subdivisions. He previously worked for Cooper Realty Investments (CRI), gaining experience in financial analysis and development management.
Mr. Hopper is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and has earned its Certified Property Manager (CPM) certification. He is a state registered appraiser in Arkansas, holds an Arkansas Real Estate Salesperson License, and is a member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR). He has served on the Board of Child Development for Central United Methodist Church and as chairman of the board of trustees for First United Methodist Church. He is a previous member of Leadership Benton County and Rotary International.
Mr. Hopper holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of North Alabama with emphasis in business management and computer information systems.
Bo Morrison, eldest son and protégé of the formerly mentioned Executive Broker, joins Devereux Group to facilitate the introduction of residential real estate and the transition and expansion of the company to a more all-encompassing real estate venture.
Mr. Morrison has been recognized by his clients and colleagues for the passion and heart he pours into the home buying and selling process. He was taught that a REALTOR is to be of service to the public and to support and offer informed and knowledgeable guidance for anyone in need of it. This successful approach to his profession is reflected in the passionate feedback from his clients and their enthusiastic referrals to family and friends in need of such service.
Mr. Morrison has 25 years of professional experience in public relations, publicity, marketing, sales management and real estate. A 1994 graduate of the School of Journalism and Strategic Media at the University of Arkansas, Morrison began his career in Washington, D.C., as press secretary to U.S. Senator David Pryor. After Senator Pryor’s retirement, Morrison moved to Los Angeles to begin a career in the
entertainment industry as a talent manager, film publicist and awards consultant for Universal Pictures and Disney Pixar. In 2021, he returned home to Northwest Arkansas to begin a new venture in real estate and spent four years as a REALTOR® at Coldwell Banker Harris McHaney & Faucette in Rogers before joining Devereux Group in May 2025.
Mr. Morrison is active in the community and passionate about the focus and mission of the organizations he serves as a board member, including the Arkansas Alumni Association’s Lemke Journalism Alumni Society and PRIDE Alumni Society organizations. In 2024, the Arkansas Alumni Association honored him with the Morris Fair Heart Award for embodying the volunteer spirit, enthusiasm and commitment that is the core of an alumni organization.
In 2022, Mr. Morrison received accolades as the Coldwell Banker Harris McHaney & Faucette Company- Wide Rookie of the Year, the George Faucette, Sr Team Spirit Award, and the Rogers Office Rookie of the Year. His sales record has earned him Coldwell Banker International Sterling Society and International Diamond Society awards, as well as the Northwest Arkansas Board of Realtors Diamond Award.
Pat has been involved in the commercial real estate business since 1980 and the Northwest Arkansas market since 1992. His expertise in client representation includes land, office, industrial and retail. His knowledge of the area and connections with a large network of clients has brought significant transactions to several commercial real estate companies.
After moving to Northwest Arkansas from Little Rock, Pat became senior vice president and managing commercial broker for the area’s first exclusive commercial real estate division. During his tenure, volume rose from $1 million in 1995 to $65.4 million in 2005. Pat accounted for over $400 million in personal sales volume. As owner and principal broker of Morrison Wanger Adams, he successfully
represented all leasing activity of Village on the Creeks mixed-use development and brought tenant occupancy from 64% to 100%, maintaining a 95% occupancy from 2015-2020.
Pat graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing in 1971 from the University of Arkansas, where he was a three-year letterman and All-SWC tight end for the Razorback football team. He was inducted into the Razorback Hall of Honor in 2014. He and his wife, Ann, have three children and eight grandchildren.
Stephanie Johnson brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the real estate industry. With a background in teaching for 19 years and holding a real estate license for 20 years, Stephanie has seamlessly integrated her skills into the world of real estate.
While teaching, she kept her license active at the family Real Estate company, Hillcrest Properties, which later became JK Real Estate.
Upon moving to Northwest Arkansas (NWA) from Little Rock in 2020 Stephanie became a REALTOR with Burnett Real Estate Team. Her journey led her and her husband, Cory, to open their own company, Trail Run Real Estate. Shortly after, Bo Morrison approached them with an offer to join the Devereux Group as founding agents for the Residential side, an opportunity they could not pass up.
After retiring from teaching, Stephanie co-founded Trail Run Properties, a renovation/building company and expanded her expertise by becoming a Licensed General Contractor. Stephanie and her partner operate a successful renovation business in both Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas. Her skills as a contractor allow her to provide clients with detailed repair estimates and help them see the potential in homes.
Stephanie’s dedication to her clients is evident in her work. Her eye for detail and ability to envision “what could be” are invaluable assets. She loves helping clients find their perfect home to meet all their family’s needs. Her experience as a Licensed General Contractor allows her to see the potential in homes and make them what the client desires.
Stephanie’s main goal as an agent is to help clients transition smoothly from one home to another or purchase their first home with ease. She understands that buying and selling a home can be stressful, and stives to make the process as easy as possible.
Jamie Smith is a dedicated Executive Broker with a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of buying and selling properties. Beginning her career in 2019 in the Tulsa metro area, Jamie transitioned to Northwest Arkansas in 2021, bringing her expertise to the region. With a background in the medical field, she shifted to real estate driven by a desire to assist others and a love for homes. Her
experience spans residential homes, new construction, ranches, and land transactions.
Known for her excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, Jamie is committed to providing personalized service. She works closely with clients, guiding them through the entire process—from preparing a home for sale to navigating inspections and closing procedures. Her deep knowledge of the Northwest Arkansas market, combined with her patient and attentive approach,

Outside of her professional life, Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She is an avid outdoors enthusiast, often found biking, hiking, painting, or walking her schnauzer, Luna. Her dedication to both her family and clients reflects her commitment to building lasting relationships and delivering exceptional service in every real estate transaction.
Roberto Carmona has been working at Village on the Creeks in property management since 2006. He supervises exterior building, lighting and landscape maintenance. His attention to detail is an asset that contributes to the well-kept building exteriors and grounds of the approximately 60-acre complex.
Mr. Carmona has been in Northwest Arkansas since 2005 after moving here from Mexico City, Mexico. He has three children and in his spare time he is an artist creating beautiful pieces of artwork for local art shows.
Christia Cornog has been involved with commercial real estate since 1996 accumulating expertise in property management, accounting, lease administration, and oversight of five commercial operations across four states. She oversees distributions to investors in multiple limited partnerships.
Christia is involved in the day-to-day operations and management of the property that is approximately 260,000 square feet of retail, office, service and restaurant space. Mrs. Cornog has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas. She is a licensed realtor and a member of the Northwest Arkansas Board of REALTORS® and National Association of REALTORS®. Married to Michael and mother to four children. She enjoys volunteering at Feed Rogers.
Leslie Logan became connected with property management and commercial real estate in 2008 when she came to the property management office of Village on the Creeks. As assistant property manager and marketing director, her goals are tenant support and retention as well as marketing and advertising leasable commercial spaces. She is also a brokerage assistant for the commercial sales team and assists with marketing of commercial land sales.
Mrs. Logan has a bachelor’s degree in education from University of Memphis. She is a licensed realtor and a member of the Northwest Arkansas Board of REALTORS® and National Association of REALTORS®. She and her husband, Tim, have lived in Northwest Arkansas since 1986 and have three children and four grandchildren.
Gabe Morris is Devereux Group’s supervising manager that oversees a vast array of projects and services. His responsibilities include tenant buildouts, property improvements, job estimating, along with building maintenance and grounds care. He has been with Village on the Creeks since 2005.
Prior to his work with Devereux Group, he served eight years as a manager for Terra Vista Landscape, owned his own landscaping company, operated a garden center/greenhouse, and worked in earthworks construction.
Mr. Morris studied horticulture at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith and is a certified Master Gardener. He is an avid outdoorsman, active in the Acres for Wildlife program, a member of the Church of Christ, and the owner of M-Farms.
